Expected & Unexpected School Behavior
This activity aims to provide a fun way to teach/remind students of what behaviors are and are not expected of them in the classroom.
• 48 memory cards
• A copy of the memory cards (I suggest laminating the cards so they can be used over and over again.
As students pick up the memory cards, ask the student what it looks like the child on the card is doing, and if that is an expected or unexpected classroom behavior.
If a student flips over two cards that match, they can keep those two cards and go again.
If the cards do not match, the student flips them back over and the next student tries to find a match.
Whoever has the most cards by the end of the game wins.
