Help students learn about the difference between expected and unexpected behaviors with an engaging sorting activity and 36 task cards. The sorting activity includes 10 scenarios and 10 behavior cards. For group counseling sessions, each student has a behavior card and has to decide if it is an expected or unexpected behavior based on the scenario. For individual counseling, students can sort the cards into expected and unexpected behaviors based on the scenario. The 36 task cards cover the topics of: What's Expected? Is this Expected or Unexpected? and How Would You Feel? This resource would be a great addition to lessons about the Zones of Regulation by Leah Kuypers.
