Discussing expected and unexpected behaviors has been a focus in our classroom this year. Providing students with task cards to review different behaviors is a great tool for any classroom and it also helps students who struggle to establish what other people are feeling and doing by looking at images and practicing this skill.
Included in this product are 20 task cards where students are asked to share if the behavior shown is expected or unexpected. Students are encouraged to explain their thinking. Also included is an response sheet and answer key. I have included both colour and black and white versions of this product.
In younger grades, these task cards could be used as discussion starters and educators could evaluate student understanding verbally. In older grades, students could complete this assignment independently.
