This unit is so colorful and fun! It is easily differentiated and includes color photos of each experiment.
We start off the unit learning about the color wheel, primary colors, and secondary colors. By the end of the unit your students will become color experts and have a BLAST doing it!
I use trade books with each experiment- the lessons can be done without the books easily, they just make it a little more fun and add in those ELA standards.
I used and have follow up actives for the following books.
A Color of His Own, by Leo Lionni
Ain’t Gonna Paint no More, by Karen Beaumont
Mouse Paint, by Ellen Walsh
he Mixed-Up Chameleon, by Eric Carle
Check out the preview and have fun :)!
