Explaining Scavenger Hunts to Students

Loading...
Not your average worksheet! Scavenger hunts are a way to get your students out of their seats and moving around while practicing math. In these scavenger hunts, students use the answer to one problem to find another problem hanging around the classroom. Each scavenger hunt has a different theme, like mathematicians, female mathematicians, branches of mathematics, presidents, chemical elements, etc. This video models how I introduce the directions for a scavenger hunt to my students. Feel free to use this video in your class or use it to help you prepare your own lesson.
