The front of this handout explains what article you should choose when talking about liking or disliking food, when using a negative expression, when giving a quantity of food, when using a preceding plural adjective, when talking about one whole, several wholes, and part of one whole. It gives various examples for each of these situations.
On the back, students brainstorm words and phrases they may see that would indicate one of the above situations (ex. beaucoup, trop, un peu, aime, n'aime pas, etc.)
They are also given various foods with different articles and asked to draw what that would look like.
