Students love scavenger hunts! At home or in the neighborhood, inside or outside, they can find the 3-D objects that represent the 3-D shapes they need to remember! I have included one You-Tube video so students can hear a rhyme about 3-D shapes, and another video that shows a 3-D shape ballet. Included is a template where students can write their own poem about 3-D shapes. “Sphere, sphere, what’s your clue?” I would also encourage students to build shapes out of 3-D blocks in the room. You can take pictures and display them on a bulletin board along with the poems.
