Product Description
This packet will help your kindergarten and first grade students learn, understand, and practice using the science terms used when talking about Antarctica. It also will provide you with resources to make your unit come to life. By integrating science and non-fiction into your language lessons, you not only create an enthusiasm in your students, but you can create the "hook" you need to engage even the most reluctant learners.

This packet includes 7 lesson plans to help you as you plan your unit. Each lesson is written out and the packet includes all of the pictures, resources, recording sheets, and activity ideas you will need to make each lesson a success.

Students will learn about Antarctica's topography, weather, research stations, animals, and more.

Each lesson comes with high-resolution photographs that can be projected or printed out. These pictures will really help your students experience Antarctica!
