Product Description
This activity combines Social Studies, English, and Math.

This can be used during a unit of study on the Holocaust (which can be incorporated with many novels as well). In fact, I used it when reading Number the Stars.

Students will need to read the data (credited to the website it came from) and then answer the basic comprehension questions that follow. In addition, students will then create a graph (visual representation) of the numbers.

This is a great activity to help students see while millions of lives were lost in Germany and Poland, other countries lost many people as well. The numbers and graphs seemed to help students comprehend the enormous number.
