I love doing station activities with students. It gives them time to explore specific tasks, but also make their own discoveries.
Students will enjoy exploring magnets with the 7 hands-on task card activities. Teachers will enjoy the detailed directions and readymade cards. The task card activities are great as stations, centers, whole class, or how you would like to use them.
Students will learn about:
The magnetic field
Strength of magnets
Iron in cereal
Included in the 16 page PDF digital download:
*Teacher Tips and directions for each task
*7 Magnet Task Cards (All Hands-On)
*Task Card Observation Page for younger students. This is designed for kids that may not be reading and writing proficiently yet. Students record observations instead of answering the questions.
*Task Card Answer Page for older students. The students will answer the specific questions on each task card.
Supplies Needed: The great thing about station activities is that you only need materials for 3-5 students. If you do them as a whole class you will need more.
Disc magnets, bar magnets, iron filings, plastic trays, paper, zip lock bags, high iron cereal, water, random objects to test, shallow bowls, small paper clips, and empty water bottles
Activities are great for classrooms, homeschoolers, science nights, and more.
Thank you for previewing my product. I hope it fits your needs.
