Connect your Science lesson with your Language Arts instruction!
These worksheets include information about ecosystems written in different text structures. Students will read each paragraph and identify the text structure being used. The first worksheet includes all the examples on one page. The rest of the worksheets have the same examples with one example per page and give a place for the students to fill out graphic organizers. This packet has made my students think about text structure while also leading to good conversation about ecosystems.
Text structures included are: Compare and Contrast, Problem and Solution, Descriptive, Sequencing, and Cause and Effect.
An answer key is provided.
