In this three-day lesson, students explore water and learn how it can take many different forms. They also learn how to use a Box and T chart to compare and contrast the differences between water and ice. Then students do a simple activity to observe what happens over time when an ice cube is left out in a room. Last, students do an experiment to change the location of an ice cube to see if putting it in a sunny or warmer spot impacts how long it takes it to melt. A book about water is included.
