PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This worksheet makes use of the 9/11 Museum website. The first section provides students with specific questions to guide them from the FAQ portion of the website so they may gain a basic narrative of events on 9/11. It then gives students an opportunity to explore the exhibits in the interactive timeline on their own. They are asked to provide information about one picture, one film clip, and one sound bite. The directions instruct students to use the remaining time period to explore the timeline. I have purposely given students a little more freedom in the second part of the exhibit so they can pick and choose which artifacts they believe they can best handle emotionally. The document is in word, so if you wanted to continue a highly structured activity for the second portion of the activity, you could copy and paste the last section to require them to write about additional exhibits and/or choose specific exhibits that you specify.
