Concentration is a great game to play as a whole class or for students to play individually or in pairs. Students click on a box which takes them to a problem. Answers are provided on the following slide so students can make sure they did the problem correctly. They can click an arrow to take them back to the main slide where the box they clicked will have disappeared. There is a riddle underneath! The first group to figure out the riddle wins the game!
My school is one-to-one so this game allows students to review at their own pace. I also put these games on my website so students can study or review outside of class.
Topics included are multiplying exponents, dividing exponents, and power to a power problems. When I used this, I had students who felt confident play in pairs in the back of the room. Students who were still struggling worked in the front with me, and we went through the problems together.
