These 6 stations take students through each of the rules of exponents, building on the one before. Students must know how to do:
Stations 1-5 each have 7 problems, with the last problem being an error analysis problem, where the steps to solve a problem are laid out and students must identify the step where the error is and fix the error. The problems build in difficulty, so that students will be confident in their ability to do the problems as they work through the problems. Station 6 is applications of exponents, and there are only 4 problems in this station.
Station 1, 2, and 3 will have no negative exponents, but stations 4-6 include negative exponents. Station 1 is only the product rule, and every other station builds on the skills from the previous station.
