Have your students practice exponent rules by using this Sudoku game. They will solve each problem using exponent rules (add, subtract, and multiply the exponents). Their answers go in the next column. The number that is "boxed" is the answer that replaces the letter on the other side (on the sudoku board). All numbers will be between 1 and 9 and will only be used once. Once the board is filled in with those answers, the student can play Sudoku with the board. This adds logic and critical thinking skills to the lesson. My students LOVE these!
