Algebra that Functions
Exponential Functions Graph Transformations
Do you want your students to understand the relationships between equations for exponential functions and graphs? In this activity your students will evaluate functions and create tables of values for exponential functions with positive and negative exponents. Your students will use the table of values to graph the coordinate points for a variety of exponential functions. They will make conjectures and write reflections comparing the transformations of graphs of exponential functions.
