Product Description
TOPIC: Graphing Families of Exponential Functions

The learning objectives include the following:

the student will understand how to
graph exponential functions,
identify the domain and range
identify the x-intercept and y-intercept
identify and graph the asymptote

This lesson meets the Common Core State Standard for Mathematics, CCSS.F.IF.7 “Graph functions expressed symbolically and show key features of the graph, by hand in simple cases, and using technology for more complicated cases.” http://www.corestandards.org/

This is a project I use in my Algebra 2 Honors classroom as an introduction to graphing exponential fuctions. A total of 12 graphing problems are included modeling situations that demonstrated the relationship between y= b^x and y=ab^(x-h)+k

For each problem, the following questions must be answered:
What is the Domain?___________
What is the Range? ________________ __
Write the X-Intercept?_ ________
Write the Y-intercept?________________
Write and graph the Asymptote_________________
