### PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This graphic organizer is designed to be used as a foldable in an interactive notebook. If not using an interactive notebook, it can easily be stored in a binder. It can be used as a review guide before a test or it could also be used instead of notes; students actually prefer this type of note taking format.

The topics included along with examples are the following:

-Defined the exponential function with base ā€˜eā€™, y=e^x
-Defined the inverse function as the natural logarithm y= lnx
-Simplifying natural logarithmic expressions
-Solving natural logarithmic equations
-Solving exponential equations with base e

I hope this organizer is helpful to you and your students. I would love to hear back from you and see how it helped you.

Common Core Standards

CCSS.HSF.BF.B.5 (+) Understand the inverse relationship between exponents and logarithms and use this relationship to solve problems involving logarithms and exponents.

CCSS.HSF.LE.A.4 For exponential models, express as a logarithm the solution to abct = d where a, c, and dare numbers and the base b is 2, 10, or e; evaluate the logarithm using technology.

CCSS.HSF.LE.B.5 Interpret the parameters in a linear or exponential function in terms of a context
