Exponential Growth and Decay Cut and Paste Activity
This Cut and Paste Activity requires students to match an exponential function with its properties. Students must use the structure of the function to determine if it represents a Growth or Decay Function, then must determine the Percent of Growth/Decay.
On the front, students are given the function only, then must place Growth/Decay and its percent of change.
On the back, students are given the Growth/Decay and the Percent, then must find the function that has these properties.
As an extra challenge, there are extra pieces that students won't need to complete the assignment, and the extra pieces are mistakes that students typically make when doing these problems.
