This is a fun way to help students practice using exponential notation. It can be used as a center or a whole class activity. I used this in my special education classroom to help my students practice the three forms of exponents as a center. This can be used as a special education resource and even a regular education resource! I have included two sets, Set A and Set B. One set has simpler problems (Set B) and the other has more challenging problems where the students will have to multiply higher numbers (Set A). There are also the mats included where the students can paste the three forms on to. I have included a mat for Set A and Set B, but you would have to copy 2 more for each, as there are nine examples in each set. That means 27 pieces for your students to cut and glue. My students loved this and I hung them up in the classroom when they were done!
