Help your students understand what that "little number up in the air" is with these four practice pages on exponents. Each page contains ten problems with space for the exponential, written, expanded, and standard forms. One of the four forms is already filled in for each problem, and your students will fill in the other three. The first three pages are of similar and average difficulty, and the fourth is a bit more difficult as the multiplication required to solve the problems is a bit more challenging. You can use one page as guided practice, one as homework or independent practice, and one as an assessment (the fourth page would then be good for above-level students or as an early-finisher activity). As always, an answer key is included and ready for the document camera. No scrambling to find the calculator before going over the answers in class!
