This is a great review resource for when you need something to spice up the classroom, that engages every student, and is a fun way to learn! Each student gets a copy of the puzzle to cut out. After they cut it out and scramble it up, on the count of 3 they all start to put the puzzle together individually (or they can work in pairs, whatever works in your classroom!).
To put the puzzle together, you will notice that the Spanish is on one side, and the English is on the other. They try to match up the sides to make the pieces "fit" together. Also, there are verbs and on one side, it says yo/almorzar and they opposite side would be almuerzo for the matching piece.
When they put the puzzle together, they say DONE and get a bonus point! I usually give the first 10 people to finish their puzzle a point. When they finish, I check it, they get a point, and they can chose to get up and help someone else, if they want to. Make this your own and have fun! I like to have the kids paperclip their puzzles together and I put them in a bucket to save all year. As the year goes on and a quiz/test is over, they can go over to the bucket and quietly work on one of the puzzles until everyone has finished their exam!
Feel free to make this puzzle your own! All you have to do is type in an English word on one side, and a Spanish word or verb conjugation on the other. Use this as a template if you wish and you can make it for any other chapter of vocabulary!
Please message me with any questions! Enjoy :)
