This activity gives students an opportunity to review and practice three skills: inviting someone, accepting an invitation, and turning down an invitation; conjugating and using the verbs pouvoir and vouloir in different forms; telling time.
Students work in pairs and are given one of the two day-planner pages. They need to converse to find times they can spend together on that day. Each student takes a turn inviting their partner to the activities on their planner. They respond based on whether they are free at that time, or busy. When they find activities they can share, they add those to their planner, including time, address, and activity.
