This is a one-page worksheet that gives students diverse practice with algebraic expressions and inequalities. The first 10 questions give students expressions that must be simplified using the distributive property. The next chunk gives students 2 questions that ask them to determine which inequality is true when x represents a given value. The third chunk of the workpage gives students 10 inequality clue words or phrases and students must determine which inequality symbol matches the word or phrase. The very last chunk of the page gives the students the 4 inequality symbols and tells to students to identify whether the points (when the solution is graphed on a number line) would be open or closed.
This activity can be used as independent practice, partner work, homework, review, assessment, small group lesson, reteach, bell work, etc. A complete answer key is included.
