The expedition is led by Karl von Martius, the Father of Ecology, This program was reviewed and approved by the British gov't for CurriculumOnLine, by the National Wildlife Federation and by the Da Vinci Science Center.
This Ecology education resource was designed to promote Eco awareness K-12. It can be used year-round for reports and projects with its extensive index of 78 topics, 700 pages of text and 1000s of downloadable images including Earth Day posters. It can be used for library lessons, computer lab, bulletin boards and free time awarded for work well done. It could be utilized for end of year activities and Art classes. Even Kindergarten students can learn from the insect review in the Biodiversity lesson.
