Extended Ratios Scavenger Hunt
Students will practice using extended ratios to solve for side and angle measurements through this scavenger hunt activity. This activity was designed for a high school level geometry class with a basic understanding of the triangle sum theorem and perimeter.
Just print the twelve cards and scatter around the room and put a few in the hallway if possible. Students are placed in groups and assigned to a starting problem. The answer they get will lead them to their next problem.
Scavenger hunts are one of my favorite activities because it gets students up and moving, and provides a way for students to self-check.
