Students practice finding the measures of angles using the Exterior Angle Theorem by first writing an equation, solving for x and then using that value to find the measure of the angles. This is a great activity that will challenge your students. Included is 18 pairs of matching cards, half of the cards have a diagram of a triangle with expressions used for the angles given. The other half of the cards have the measure of a given angle.
Use for small groups, pairs or individual students. Works well also for centers or early finishers. Many more uses are described in my free resource "Ways to Use Matching Cards"
Also included is a set of 10 pairs of matching cards. These cards will help students who are struggling to practice writing the equation and solving for x. Half the cards have a diagram of the triangle, the other half have the value of x.
These bonus cards are included to allow differentiation in the classroom.
