New and Improved!
This foldable includes tabs for extinct, endangered, and thriving. Although designed for use in an interactive notebook, the foldable can also be used alone. It’s a great tool for introducing the vocabulary needed when discussing food chains and food webs! Students color the circles like a traffic light to represent the three statuses. Red= extinct, Yellow= endangered, and Green= thriving. Next, students write the definition of each, or draw pictures to remember what they mean, then use it later for review. Under the endangered tab, you can also include the term “threatened”. It includes one foldable that is already colored and labeled, and one that is blank. Also included are definitions and examples, a black and white friendly version, and a page of website resources on this topic!
