This document contains 15 translation questions in which students have to distinguish between Ser, Estar, and Haber in the imperfect tense. There are two questions which require the use of the imperfect progressive and hints are included to help students get the questions right.

An answer key is included.

This exercise takes about 15 minutes. Once students complete their translations I show the answers on the projector.
