When I taught homeroom as an art teacher, it was my responsibility to set SMART Goals with students each semester during parent/teacher conferences. Throughout the our Students, Teachers, and Parents worked together to help students set SMART Goals in this handout/worksheet activity.
1. Learn WHAT your goal should look like.
2. Understand the TYPES of goals that are most important to students
3. Reflect upon STRENGTHS for improvement or areas NEEDING improvement
4. Read through student goal SAMPLES, written by students themselves.
Set your year or semester up for success!
Help students feel empowered and able to achieve their desires/goals.
