Product Description
Have you found that it is difficult for your students to understand the difference between qualitative and quantitative observations? What about inferences and opinions? By using Eyes on Observation, the students will become more and more adept at understanding the difference.

Included is a modified version of this activity for kindergarten (whole group), first grade, and second grade. They use the five senses and number and record their observations in the correct squares.

An interactive flipchart is also included to accompany this lesson plan. The flipchart contains a review of vocabulary, lab sheets for teacher to model and/or students to record for the class, and a formative assessment. The first part of the flipchart is for grades three through five. The last part of the flipchart is for kindergarten through second. You will need ActivInspire by Promethean to use the flipchart.
