This video worksheet allows students to follow along as they watch the Eyewitness video titled Rock and Mineral. This video can be found on YouTube if you don't have a copy of the DVD.
Watching a video is no longer a passive activity!! Students are engaged during the video as they must listen AND write at the same time; definitely an important skill for students to master. Each video worksheet includes fill-in-the blank, true/false, or short answer questions. Count this as a grade or go over the answers at the end of the video as a supplement to notes or a test study guide.
Also included is a QR code that students can scan to watch the video again as a study tool or on their own time for homework or as a make-up assignment if they miss the video in class. QR codes are excellent additions to Interactive Notebooking and great for allowing students to watch a video on their own devices on their own time. This QR code links to the American version of the video and is narrated by Martin Sheen. The original version cuts off at about minute 24 on YouTube so I linked to this one. The content is still the same and the questions should match up.
An answer key is included with this document.
