Product Description
Buy the bundle and save! This packet contains both of my letter F Units. Each unit has different activities and worksheets. One has clip art throughout and the other uses real photos and introduces informational text!

In the packet "F is for Frog", you will find:

In this unit you will find ways to enhance your letter studies with your children.
In this packet you will find 3 different sets of write the room cards, all things that begin with the letter f. You can find and use the one that best fits your needs. You may still find uses for the other sets, for word walls, vocabulary words, pocket chart activities. You will also find a “word bank” with the words. If you put those in page protectors and inside a folder (the version with the brads for holding hole punched pages), you have an “on the go” mini word wall for independent writing or another center!

It covers these common core standards:

SL.K.1 I can participate conversations with my friends.
SL.K.4 I can describe things and events.
SL.K.5 I can add drawings to add details.
SL.K6 I can be understood when I speak in class.
LK.1 I can print my letters.
W.K1 I can write my opinion about something.
W.K2 I can write about something I know.
R.FK.4 I can read an emergent reader with purpose and understanding.
RF.K.1 I can recognize and name all of my upper and lower case letters.
RF.K3b I can say the long and short vowel sounds for the five major vowels.
RF.K3a I can say the sound of each of the letters of the alphabet.
You will find several different pocket chart activities that can also be used as center activities. One is picking out the fox who ate the
gingerbread man! One is matching letters on picture frames to the
pictures that begin with the same letter. There is a group game called “Spot it and Eat it!” with the students help the frog “eat” the flies with that have something on them that begins with the /f/. You will find Quiz, Quiz, Trade cards (and directions for doing this game), I have Who has, Graphic Organizers, writing paper with and without prompts. You will also find 3 different types of Write the Room answer sheets, worksheets for identifying objects with the beginning sound of /f/, and writing F practice sheets. There is a song sheet with the “sign language” F with a fun song. There is also an emergent reader for words that begin with F. I have even
included a song book of the “5 Green Speckled Frogs” just for fun!!

In the packet "F is for Fireworks", you will find:
