This is a very simple activity for students as a whole class fitness warm-up or instant activity or part of stations/centers. Can be printed for each student, made into a poster, displayed on ipads/chromebooks, or use a TV/smartboard or projector for large display. The results also have images for language learners of all ages.
Students find a partner and stand back to back, then on the "3, 2, 1, Go!" signal, they jump around with a very clear sad, angry, or happy face (other options available), which they then use the results of to determine which exercise they need to do. A very engaging way to practice fitness skills plus social-emotional (SEL) face recognition. It can last about 10 minutes as a separate activity.
You get 3 versions, plus I added extra custom sheet for each that can be written on for personalization of your own ideas.
