The FACE Project 3-5th Grade Social Skills Module consists of six weekly sessions designed to promote the social/emotional development of children by strengthening individual, group, and classroom behaviors for students in a small group setting. Lessons are intended to be implemented by school counselors during a thirty minute 'lunch bunch' setting. The core principle thread throughout the module is the development and enhancement of students' growth mindset and ability to identify and reflect upon positive social behaviors. Additionally, all lessons note and adhere to counseling standards outline by common core criteria.
The FACE Project is a non-profit character education program that provides teachers and counselors with comprehensive curriculum that meet teacher and counselor standards of learning. The FACE Project also enables partnering teachers and counselors to work with a seasoned education professional throughout the school year.
