This is a great introductory sewing project for middle or high school students!
As you discuss and demo different hand sewing and machine sewing techniques, students will practice the technique themselves on a fabric scrap. They will then create a page in their binder that includes instructions on how and when to use each stitch.
This product includes detailed implementation instructions as well as "definitions" or talking points for each of the 11 stitches. Students can then have a binder to use as a resource throughout the year when creating their sewing projects. This project is a great way to promote a student guided classroom!
