Students must read the sentences and decide which type of figurative language is being used.

They must choose from the following:

- simile
- metaphor
- personification
- alliteration
- hyperbole
- imagery
- onomatopoeia

The last two lines are for students to write their own examples of figurative language.
The first page of the PDF is the worksheet, and the second page is an answer key.
