Product Description
FAST is an acronym that most teachers use to teach character traits. I use it to examine the impact dialogue has on the characters and plot.

RL8.3: Analyze how particular lines of dialogue or incidents in a story or drama propel the action, reveal aspects of a character, or provoke a decision.

Although created for my 8th grade students, this can be used in any middle school or high school classrooms. Includes examples and answer keys
