I'm an RTI interventionist in Metro Nashville Public Schools (MNPS), and our district uses the FASTbridge tests to monitor our students' progress.

Interventionists and teachers may find this useful in preparing students for FASTbridge assessments.

What you will receive is two PowerPoint presentations---both allow students to practice for the 1st grade "Numeral Identification" (NI) FASTbridge assessment. The only difference in the two PowerPoints is that the numbers are mixed up so that students don't learn the pattern as easily. You might alternate which one you use on different days. You can also mix the slides around yourself if you feel they are learning both PowerPoints.

Each of these is a fairly short PowerPoint, and it is intended to be so. We all know the attention spans of 1st graders, and this is just long enough to keep their interest. I recommend projecting it on a screen if possible (or just putting it on your computer screen), then moving through the PowerPoint with a wireless mouse or wireless pointer (or the arrow keys).

I use it every day with mine, and I have seen their scores improve. I hope it will help you too! :)
