Students fill out a worksheet and create their own peeps for a colorful, creative, and thoughtful Spring bulletin board teaching adjectives, friendship qualities, and character traits.
The worksheet asks for students to determine what characteristic they look for in their favorite "peeps." They must also identify a character in a book that shows this trait and explain why that trait is important to a good friendship.
To keep students from using common adjectives, I had them collaboratively create a list of "over-used adjectives" first. The over-used adjectives were not allowed to be used in the activity.
** A template of the peeps is not included. Unfortunately, that isn't mine to sell. I found the template I used in a Google image search.
