2) A document-based activity that gives your students the opportunity to identify key
aspects of FDR's New Deal and the role that it played on mending the broken
American economy. Students will identify target groups of different New Deal
programs, describe the goal of the program, place it under one of the identified three
Rs (Relief, Recovery or Reform), and then they have to use their own knowledge
and the information provided to determine if the program was successful in helping
the economy.

3) A detailed answer key to the lesson activity to save you time and help guide student
comprehension.
