FIFA 2018 World Cup Challenge competition project. Fun way to teach students about the FIFA World Cup and link to sport, life skills and critical thinking.
This is a zip file that contains a series of workshops with all the resources needed to deliver either a drop down day for a year group or a SOW on Human rights and Sport. Useful for Humanities, Citizenship, PSHE, ART.
You will have to put a world cup bid together. Your team will have to select an appropriate country to host the 2022 world cup in replacement of the crisis that occurred with Qatar. To win you will have to score the most points out of 100 in the selection criteria
Students will work in teams and participate in many creative and challenging small team tasks alongside the overall challenge of presenting their nations bid to host the 2022 World Cup to the international FIFA committee.
This could even be run as a cross-curricular humanities project in lessons over a half term. The main powerpoint will run the teacher through each of the five sessions
THIS RESOURCE works well with my other Fifa resources
