Product Description
"Drill'S Corner" Presents a wonderful opportunity for students to apply their knowledge of both organizational structures and figurative language. The assignment allows students to identify examples of all six of the organizational structures ( cause / effect, problem / solution, compare / contrast, sequencing, chronological and spatial ), as well as six types of figurative language ( idioms, alliteration, similes, metaphors, personification and onomatopoeias ). The last portion of this powerful assignment serves as a gateway into adages. Students can begin to distinguish the differences between adages and idioms.
