This activity is a great way to let early learners practice identifying shapes. This set features silly looking fish in different shapes and students have to find the shape that matches. Features 4 versions of the cards for a total of 36 cards! These are great for work tasks, during small groups or independent work time.
This activity is so easy to set up and is super flexible so it can be used however works in your classroom. To get it ready simply print the cards, laminate for durability and cut apart. Decide how many cards you want your students to do at a time and place those cards and a matching number of clothespins in a bag or container.
To complete the activity, students place a clothespin on the bottom shape that matches the picture at the top. If you want to you can make this activity self-checking by placing a mark/sticker on the back of the card behind the correct shape.
