Fives! Original Poetry: Math and Literacy Activities
Active and Concrete Learning Opportunities

This is an original poem written about sharks. It includes math concepts of subtraction "taking away", identifying numerals, counting "how many", matching objects and numerals. Students will also be able to identify number words, punctuation, and capitalization. Over 200 pages!

Students will use various manipulatives to help students with concrete learning opportunities. Students will physically be able to take away sharks. Students will be able to act out the poem with shark puppets. So many opportunities for fun learning!

This set of activities is differentiated and can be used with preschool, kindergarten, first grade, special education, and homeschool.

This set includes: original poem, pocket chart poem, pictures to match the poem, shark manipulatives, shark puppets, differentiated student books, interactive large book, focus wands, differentiated letter extension printables, differentiated word extension printables, differentiated number extension printables, manipulatives and task cards for subtraction practice!!
