Help your struggling readers have success reading quickly and fluently with these practice charts! Suggested instructions for use included. One chart for the alphabet, three for CVC words, and five short and long vowel mixed charts (one for each of the vowels) plus one blank template are included. These can be used for students who are just starting out with fluency practice and those who need practice switching between the long and short vowels spellings. This is one of many techniques used for helping dyslexic students and struggling readers become more fluent. It trains the brain to recognize specific aspects of words and decode them correctly and more quickly. A blank template is included. You can use something as simple as pictures or as complex as variant vowel words to focus on a specific skill. Laminate the template for centers or make individual charts for specific skills to send home for practice.
