This file contains 4 Activites in the realm of Impression Evidence:
1. A Shoe Imprint Research Activity- students pick a type of shoe to investigate, role a print (using water clean up poster paint) and do some analysis and research on it, and make a poster to display.
2. Case Study Research project- OJ Simpson
3. Investigation lab where students design their own experiment to determine if a set of shoe prints were at a walk or a run. (May require some loose dirt such as a school softball or baseball field to experiment.)
4.Tire Tread Analysis sheet. Students go outside and observe tires in the parking lot making observations and analysis, distinguishing features, measurements. We do a plaster cast of a tire track in some loose dirt (usually made by my car) and then try to find the culprit tire from a selection in the parking lot.
