There are 22 matching pairs in this set and a DONKEY card.
This is my teaching set in the series and I developed it because I had learners who still wanted to play DONKEY and had reached this level. It's great for consolidation when you are teaching fractions of a collection.
The complete set has four sets of cards:
Set 1 - Teaching Set - half/quarter/eighth (this set)
Set 2 - half/quarter/eighth with collection counted
Set 3 - third/sixth/ninth/twelfth/fifth/tenth/twelfth
Set 4 - this set - multiples of fractions thirds, quarters and fifths
I have these cards laminated and I use this set for direct teaching as it allows partitioning with a wipe-off crayon. Set 2 has the collection counted already and is the next step to Sets 3 and 4.
These DONKEY games consolidate skills taught in my intervention programs:
CATCH-UP, KEEP-UP Fractions and Decimals (Years 1 to 5)
FRACTION FUN PROGRAMS (Workbooks 1 to 3)
