Use this simple graphic organizer to check students' understanding of the 5 senses in the primary grades. Students can draw or cut out pictures to add to each section, or use the image files to complete the activity digitally. Two organizers are included: one showing all 5 senses for older students, and one showing only 3 of the senses for younger students and those with special needs. A printable PDF is included, as well as PNG (image) files of both organizers that you can import into another program for students to complete digitally. This resource is ideal for primary students who are non-readers or beginning readers. I use this organizer with my 3- and 4-year-old students in the computer lab to locate and classify pictures according to the 5 senses, as part of our science curriculum. I import the image files into KidPix, and students use stamps and stickers from the program to complete the organizer.
